Candidates endorsed by Montgomery Women have won election to the State Legislature, the Montgomery County Council and the Montgomery County Board of Education. We also have successfully promoted the appointment of qualified women to County boards and commissions.
Montomgery County Boards and Commissions
Montgomery County actively seeks involvement of its citizenry and there are a number of opportunities to serve on Boards, Committees and Commissions.
When possible, Montgomery Women will post announcements about vacancies on County boards, committees, and commissions.

Nancy Floreen, one of the founding members of Montgomery Women, has been elected as President of the Montgomery County Council. Nancy is in her second term as Councilmember-at-Large.
Kathleen Dumais, a principal with Paley Rothman, Bethesda and a District 15 Representative has been named in: "The Top 25 Women " by Maryland Super Lawyers 2010.
