Don't miss this piece "For a woman to reach the White House, the 2012 elections will be key" from Debbie Walsh is director, and Kathy Kleeman is senior communications officer, at the Center for American Women and Politics, part of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University.

In addition to giving the statistics on the downward turn of women in politics, the piece mentions the research on how women go into politics and the kinds of changes women bring.
