OCTOBER 12 LUNCHEON

The Work Life Balance

One More Time…How do I get it Right?

Join CREW Maryland Suburban at a life balance panel luncheon for a candid multi-generational discussion about issues that govern a woman’s every day struggle to get it right.

Our moderator will challenge you to muster your reserves and interact with the panelists who will discuss their approach to maintaining a normal life when the pressures of working escalate.

What types of strategies have the panelists used to maintain a balance? What has worked and not worked? How have they reacted to society’s pressures on women to “do it all”? Hear their stories and tell yours as well.

Attention CREW Members & Friends,

CREW Maryland Suburban is participating in Women Build 2011, a program to help raise funds for Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, and we need your help!

In an effort to bring women together, Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, Maryland, Inc. has launched the Women Build 2011 program. This partnership gives women in the community the opportunity to help change the life of a low-income family by raising funds to rehabilitate a distressed home and turn it into one that is simple, decent, and affordable. This winter, women from the Montgomery County community began fundraising for the rehabilitation of a vacant, distressed home. CREW Maryland Suburban has joined this fundraising initiative. It is our goal to raise $1,000 in the next several months for the Women Build 2011 program. We then plan to participate in a build-day at the site of the home being rehabilitated. We have already begun collecting donations towards our goal of raising $1,000, and will continue collecting donations until we have reached our goal. Donations can be made in-person via check at any of CREW’s upcoming events. You may also donate online at www.firstgiving.com/womenbuild2011 (be sure to write “CREW” in the memo line so that your donation is credited properly towards CREW’s efforts).

Please consider donating to this initiative! If you have any questions, please contact Heather Dlhopolsky of Linowes and Blocher LLP at hdlhopolsky@linowes-law.com or by calling 301-961-5270.
