NOVEMBER 9 BREAKFAST How The Fillmore Came (To Be) in Silver Spring
Join us for BREAKFAST, an informative PANEL PRESENTATION, and a TOUR of Silver Spring’s newly opened music hall - The Fillmore. Enjoy the early morning bustle of downtown Silver Spring and listen to our panel discuss how this unique public private partnership transformed the partial remains of a former J.C. Penny’s department store (including the original art deco styled façade) into The Fillmore. Approved, constructed, and opened in 18 months, The Fillmore created the foundation for the future mixed-use project that will surround the site. Learn how the County, Lee Development Group and Live Nation made it happen! The event will begin with breakfast at Eggspectation. Presentation and tour to follow. OUR PANELISTS
